Seriously. Why do people do it? I just hate it. Some are forced to do it, while others just cheat on their spouses. It really gets my blood boiling.
I am writing about this issue after seeing two incidents of it in anime in the past two days. Argh! I need to find something to get my mind off it! The first incident was with Rainbow (a new anime of this season), episode 03. The setting of the anime is old, so the adultery was somewhat involuntary, and not to mention the child of the mother who took part in it saw the whole thing. Fuck! Sure, it may not have actually shown it visually, but you could hear it! blakbunnie27 who is translating the anime for FroZen suggested it was a good post World War II anime, but I dove right into episode 03 and encoutred the sex scene... Shit.
The second incident was today with Detective Conan episode 260 (I'm checking out some of the original episodes from the series which aren't part of the manga) and I came across that (refer to image). As for the setting, we'll it's too long to describe, but in short, wife is cheating on murdered husband, and Kogoro and Conan try to figure out who did it. Surprisingly, and this is a spoiler, even though the murdered man's wife and "boyfriend" tried to plan the death, it wasn't either of them.
Seriously though, why do females cheat (aside from the popular "young men" reason)? Sure there are reasons with sexual desire, pleasure and money, but is that really a reason to do it. To solve each matter, the wife/female must find ways to arouse the man, sexually or romantically. If it deals with money, she must either move away (flee) or find a way to pay the money back, such as working as a cleaner, cashier, or other similar jobs that pay well. To think the rise of prostate cancer for men wasn't because of this... Of course it is, in case you don't know, if men don't get sexually aroused, masturbate, or have sex at least once a week, the chances of getting the cancer are much higher than those that do those things.
As for why men cheat? Simple reason: We are too horny. Some are able to not, as they are happy with their partners. But those that do cheat, have issues with happiness, dedication and commitment. Sometimes even money, such as not being able to satisfy the partner for long term, financially.
Anyhow, just wanted to get that out of my system. I will forever hate adultery and/or "cheating." */me says it as a victim.
