Nun sind es nur noch wenige Tage, bis das größte Volksfest der Welt seine Tore öffnet.
Es findet seit 1810 auf der Theresienwiese im Westen Münchens statt und wird Jahr für Jahr von
über sechs Millionen Menschen besucht. Für die Wiesn brauen die Münchner Brauereien ein
spezielles Bier (Wiesnbier) mit mehr Stammwürze und damit auch mit höherem Alkoholgehalt.

Oktoberfeste waren früher in Bayern keine Seltenheit. Sie dienten dazu, das eingelagerte
Märzenbier vor dem Anfang der neuen Brausaison aufzubrauchen.

Die in den Festzelten verwendeten Maßkrüge sind heute nicht mehr aus Ton, sondern aus Glas,
um Schankbetrug zumindest zu erschweren.

aaa:) das october fest! sehr schönen blog! haha or something like that:S my german skills aren´t the best but hey Ive managed to figured out that is was founded 1810 and that every year a million people vistit this "people party"(don´t know the english word for it:S) and that you´ve been drinking a beer with higher alchol! haha hey there easy on the alcohol;)

I wanna celebrate the october fest too! seem like such an awsome chance too me the german people! but I heard that you actually celebrate the october fest in september? is that true?

Damn, you are are linguistic genius. :eyes: You write in english and german (and in the language of the netherlands, don't know how it is called). And you write without any mistakes. I'm german and my writings are not this perfect. My compliment. :up:

How it came, that you are able to write (speak?) these languages so perfectly? :sherlock:

mir geht es ganz gut, und dir? woher kommst du? Das Okotoberfest, aber wunderbar, nicht war? Ich bin nur vor 2 Wochen in Deutschland angekommen. Leider habe ich keine Zeit, dieses Fest zu besichtigen.Hoffe, dass ich in dem naechsten Jahr Zeit und Chance habe, an diesem Fest teilzunehmen. Freue mich, dich kennenzulernen.
