Finally I was offered a manual (special) price of $29.90 for purchasing the items.

 My beloved mother used to call me "ah pig" in her later years rather than "Jonathan" or "Shun-sang" in her earlier years. "Pig" usually carries a negative sense of laziness, clumsiness or obesity. I understood she had chosen the nick name to express her deep love, intimacy, and affection on me that no other names might truly express. Likewise, a person might weep for joy rather than to laugh. I am thankful to Ex am who came to my companion in the evening. We had chosen a restaurant for dinner where we had never been there before.

As a result of the change, I can attend the requiem and the funeral service of the late Mr.Au ck. However, I still cannot join the trip to the Noah's Ark at Ma Wan Island which will be held in the interim of either trip.

13.04.2009 (Mon)

flirt It so happened a powerpoint slide "The death of Jesus" received from a friend lately matched with the scripture (Mark 15:16~37) I am going to read at Church on Friday Easter worship. I brought along my Bible and had my lunch at the indoor stadium canteen of Shek Kip Mei Park. Afterwards, I had chosen a quiet corner in the park reading, meditating, and practicing the scripture to be read. The powerpoint slide brought me to the scene and reminded me of the great pain and the salvation Jesus did on the cross for all of us. I happened to notice and bought a rice box from Wellcome this evening at $8.00 compared to the normal price of $20.90, a drop of some 62%. I reminded him about the meeting tonight over the phone and for some chattings until the meeting began.

flirt While I was moving the pots of flowers hanging outside my windows, one of the hanging wires was broken suddenly. I wondered why the wire was so fragile. I thought it was casued by the long exposure to the sunlight and hence the heat outside. I was thankful to have known this in advance, or else the flower pots may drop and hurt others. The pots of flowers were then moved into the dining room Photo and bathroom Photo. God prevented an accident from happening. I deposited my cheque for payment of the monthly management fees to the management office box, to save the trouble of the chairlady in handling the payment immediately if I otherwise pay the cheque in person as in the past.
