Ulead has just released a new version of their digital imaging software, PhotoImpact 12. I believe that PhotoImpact is one of the best photo editing programs available. This new release adds some new tools such as:

• ExpressFix mode, to fix automatically parameters like the focus, the saturation, etc.
• SmartGuide: a task-based help that teaches you how to edit - while you edit.
• Auto White Balance Control
• Auto Reduce Noise

UPDATE: After having tried the trial version, I think the new features are not so exciting as they promise on the website . I believe there is no reason to upgrade from previous versions. Besides, the interface still has the terrible colors from v11. From my point of view, the only worthly feature added since v10 is the High Dynamic Range (HDR). So I think I'll continue using v10
