Well...it's official. She's ours. After 2 meetings this morning with civil affairs, the adoption is officially recognized by both governments. Now, they begin the process of getting her a passport, etc....etc....etc. Here are some pics from the day. A big highlight of the day was getting to witness the uniting of a 7 year old girl with a family from California. She was so excited waiting for the family to arrive. It's quite rare. At that age, they are generally "unadoptable." Very sad. So, getting to witness this was amazing to say the least. Tomorrow we are heading to Yueyang (Dani's hometown) to visit the orphanage and see where she's from. Take care all!!!!!

Oh my gosh! The video is truly amazing. What is amazing also is how Dani is taking to all this. She really seems like such a happy and contented baby.

To God be the glory!

P.S. Going on "day 5" of no Internet access at school. Your parents are resorting to dial-up. This just in: Mrs. Hawthorne was seen carrying in a abacus! Technology - it's wonderful!

We loved the vids of our niece, she is so happy and adorable...
It appears though that someone has already listed her as a Black Hawk
fan, ha!

Wonder if she will become a doctor, lawyer, childcare worker... We do know one thing she certainly is a Giacinto...

Can't wait to see her in person she is adorable, precious and loved, we have her pics up all over and Andria has had conversations with her classmates do to her pic on her wall locker at school.

Her first Christmas will be spent at our house, what a JOY!

We love you........

Okay, so it's time to make the big announcement for all of us waiting at home to go shopping for more pink and flowers. What SIZE is this beauty queen wearing these days? If we can't hug her and kiss her yet, at least we can go shopping for the next week, right?

hey guys,

I just wanted to say how much your pictures of your journey have blessed me. I get a lump in my throat just seeing Dani and and how well you "fit" together. It was meant to be! I am proud of you guys and I am so happy for you and your family. God is Good and He is truely working in your life. I can't wait to meet Dani and introduce her to Ema. Alexa said one time when she was showing me pictures of Dani that her and Ema could be best friends. Hey, ya never know. It just could happen! :) I'll be praying for a safe trip home! Love ya....Chenoa
