I photographed the barren trees originally because they sparkled with frost at sunrise. When I saw the frost didn't make a statement of expectations - I blended the trees together in photoshop. Only then could I enjoy a California sunrise

Lately I've been thinking Red Eyed Frogs are watching me. When I wake in the morning I think they watched me during the night.. crock crock crock I'm even talking to them now...

Flyboy landed on a spent bloom just long enough for me to point-and-shoot. There are three that buzz around the pond putting on a great airshow! Dragonflies live only one year, they have existed for over 200 million years! In fact, they were here before the dinosaurs, and are among the most ancient creatures still populating our planet Earth.

Its a short but happy life. The females are busy mating, laying eggs and planning to retire without an IRA. hehe I admire their flight skills every day. It's no wonder they are prehistoric creatures. If only dinosaurs could fly as brilliantly, maybe they would still be around too.
