Starting a new hobby!!

Hello fellow bloggers, nonbloggers, google searchers, picture takers, people that look at pictures, and anyone else that happens upon my page!

I've recently taken up a new hobby, which, my wife has convinced me to pursue. I've wanted to do it for a few years, and it's finally here. I've purchased new camera (Cannon SLR XSI) and I carry it pretty much everywhere I go. I even took a photography class at Collin College (aka Quad C) and learned the basic settings of the camera.


I have taken 100's of pictures and have been looking for a way to share my digital gold with everyone. I have Facebook (which I'm not particularly a fan of), but there are a few people in this world that do not have a Facebook account. So I decided to start this blog and upload for everyones viewing pleasure. You do not even have to sign up for anything!!! The catch is if you want to reply to some of the posts, you must sign up. I take lots of picture that I enjoy sharing with everyone. If there is a photo you would like, let me know and I'll send it to you or you can copy it from this blog.

Also, I'm not that big on blogging, so don't expect much of the blogging part. Like I said, this is for viewing only, although every once in awhile I'll write something.

I'm still in the learning process, so to all of you advanced photographers, try not to criticize too much, but helpful tips are greatly appreciated. And for everyone else, enjoy.
