Last Minute Good Bye

It started out very early. About 6 AM before I finally signed off with Steph. Then I went to sleep. Woke up around 3 and hopped on the computer. Got bored pretty quick. Put up an away message to play around with Quake III and Soldat for a few minutes. Well, that was frustration. Quake wouldn't let me do shit with my mouse and Soldat threw me in a gigantic arena with one dude who only uses a chainsaw. I quit and went back to AIM. Stephanie IMed me. We talked for a good half hour when she mentioned my arriving at her house just before she came back from choir. In wrapping paper and a bow with a tag that has bigger font than gay ass AOL has. It was jokingly taken by both of us, but I kinda liked the idea.

Well, a couple hours later she showed up right after I did. Amber dropped her off, saw me and made like a bullet out of the car to give me a hug. Steph was happy to see me, but like always I was happier to see her. She did her usual routine of putting the dishes away. She asked me what I wanted to do. The first thing that pops into mind is to walk downtown. Agreed. She called her dad and off we went. We got as far as the library when the wind picked up...Pretty friggin strong and cold. We started walking back, taking the side streets. The rain started. It felt good! Cool breeze, a little rain. We got as far as Fourth Street when it HIT HARD!!! It was like the friggin rain forest without shelter!!! We picked up the pace. It looked like an American London from an artistic perspective. We got back to her house, DRENCHED. She gave me a towel and dried off, yadda yadda. We made camp in the basement in front of the TV. We were soaked. I felt stupid and kicked myself in the head with a mimicking voice of myself suggesting a walk.

For the moment, it was convenient. Couldn't find anything on TV, but it was just nice. Her mom came home a little later , obviously noticing water puddles on the floor. Followed them down to where we were at. She suggested that I put my clothes in the dryer and wear some of their clothes. After a minute, I agreed. Stephanie went upstairs to change, came back with clothes for me. A shirt with a brewery on it and pink flannel sweats OR gray sweats. Well, the gray sweats were WAAAAAY too small...so pink plaid it was! We all got a kick out of it. Steph and I did a lot of the get really really close stuff. You know...typical boyfriend/girlfriend shtuff. We were kissing eachothers face, but not on the mouth. that's because she moves slow and I move slower. She knew I liked being a goof ball, but she could tell I felt much better in my own clothes. I changed a part of The Blue Collar Comedy Tour...somehow it fit. "If you can walk around your girlfriends house in her clothing, then you are RELAXED!" I got my clothes back after a little more boyfriend/girlfriend shtuff. THEY WERE FRIGGIN HOT!!!! And she picked them up without a problem. o_O Well, they cooled off and I got dressed. (all the dressing stuff was done in the bathroom for those curious) More boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, except I changed it. I kissed her forehead, then between her eyes, then the tip of her nose and stopped to say, "I'll go a little lower if you don't mind." That's when it turned around and she kissed me the way I'd hope to kiss her. Woohoo! ^^ hhhokay. We did that a few times and from there, just.....repeated stuff...enjoyable! After a while she laid down in the darkest part of the dining room on the floor, I sat next to her. We stayed there for a long time. I felt stupid the whole time I was there because I NEVER have ANYTHING to say and I can't hear a DAMN THING anyone SAYS. I might as well have been a deaf mute. I laid down next to her. Made a few comments and compliments and kisses. Her dad came home and took me home. That's the last time I'll get to see Steph for a week. ><

It was the best good bye I ever could've had.
