To better and correctly maintain the rotary drum dryer, the following drum dryer operating instructions should be noticed: listen frequently, watch frequently, and observe frequently. The details are as follows:
1. Check around the rotary drum dryer when it is running.
2. Check the coal feeding quantity and the air quantity periodically. Once there is any problem, verify and adjust promptly.
3. Check the barrel of the lrotary drum dryer to avoid the phenomenon of up and down movement. When in normal operation, the rolling ring head faces of the rotary drum dryer shouldn’t be contact with the upper or lower catch wheel, or just a slight contact is permitted. If the barrel is moving up and down, measurements should be taken to adjust the barrel of rotary drum dryer.
4. When starting the rotary drying equipment, light the fire after running. When stopping, stop the fire before stopping the rotary drying machine. When some problems happen in the running of rotary drying machine, bear in mind to turn around the barrel to make sure it isn’t out of shape.
