We are doomed.

we will all eat, sleep, and have social lives online.
(I must admit that is very much me - as it's so much easier, you don't have to look nice, you don't have to be slim, fit and cool and dandy. You don't have to leave home, and noone cares who you are in the real life... Ok - most people don't, but it's not many of them left there...)
We lost ourselves and our ability to be somehow emphatic. We are not able to support our friends in pain, unless we can translate it to our own past.
Where are we heading to?

Then regular mail came. It was way easier to send a letter and get a response. Yes, it usually takes days and weeks for it, but you can communicate more frequently. But yes, you can't see a person, can't hug her, kiss her, whatever...
Then phone. And now - Internet!
It's impossible to meet all of them in real life. And, most important, guess most of those people will be just disappointed after such meetings :-/ Cause our parents usually don't teach us a lot how to communicate "correctly" in a real life as it was few centuries ago. Well, maybe not all, but in most cases you just need to try it out by yourself. And the most easiest way to do it – do it online. Cause no one will punish you, we have a lot more privacy online. And you even can just ban/block the person if you don't want to meet her anymore

As for me; I find my social life a lot more vibrant since I jointed facebook. I connected with people I almost forgot about and even went on a drink with some. Something that wouldn't be possible without this technology. We'll see how this works out with time. Maybe on a long run it is not that good anyways.
