Too much pressure!!! Too much pressure!!!

Tweek, calm down! Drink some coffee...

And now, that I have another stage behind me...

I wet to that meeting with the specialist, that has been booked 6 months ago, and this time I got different doctor.
She was more keen to get me sorted, so I will have various tests done and in the next three months I will have another appointment o schedule a laparoscopy, during which they will take the samples of the tissue and see what it really looks like and how they can help me.

Now - this got me scared. I never had an operation before, and I have never been put to sleep in general anesthetic. I haven't even had a bone broken when I was a child, and I hate hospitals. But at least this time they want to look into the case, and they do not leave it to be...

Lazy time - First May Bank Holiday WeekendDon't know...

Last year I enjoyed my first operation ever. Abdominal operation.

After all, anesthesia is nothing to be scared of. Rather the pain afterwards... but when they are doing a laparoscopy they don't have to cut anything, right?

I'm so glad you finally got your appointment done. I remembered it was on my birthday and I was going to check in with you but it's still May 7 here so I guess I'm late!

Anyway, I've had anesthesia and you just get real sleepy and fall asleep before you even realize it. they didn't even warn me they were doing it. I remember thinking "I feel wierd, they must be giving me the anesthe....zzzz"

It's not bad really. How bad you will feel after depends on how invasive the procedure is. If they are only taking samples to test it shouldn't be too bad.

Good luck and keep me posted!!

(Of course, anything you're told anywhere other than your doctor about it should be ignored, but I was just pointing out the Wikipedia article for the phrase 'minimally invasive'. Should be little in the way of pain. )

I am more scared of being put to sleep. Some people don't wake up! But I am always panicking...

being put to sleep was funny. Suddenly I felt a bit like being drunk... and after that I don't remember anything.

No reason to panic. They usually know how to do their job.

We're talking about English doctors here though!
Not Polish, or German - I had to deal with all three of them and english are proper crap!
