Too much pressure!!! Too much pressure!!!

Tweek, calm down! Drink some coffee...

I need some help please.

I have been reading internet for good few days now, but I am hoping you aome of you guys will maybe have some special knowledge on the subject.

I think I have got sciatica.
I have been lying in my bed for four days (yesterday I thought I will put the lying to stop and I went for a 10 kilometer walk around the moor - now, as ou probably already thought, I am dying).
I can't go to the doctors now, as they are closed on Sundays - and still not having the car - I am stuck and I can't go to the emergency.

Do you know of any good websites about sciatica - or maybe know if there is anything I can do to unlock my spine??

I am going to rebootI have been diagnosed.

I have been to the doctors the first time it happened.
But I live in UK and they just told me to take paracetamol...

I am a bit better today, but there is no way to stretch it or do anything about it in my case, just lie in bed and rest... very frustrating...

So what happens? Is it all your spine? It just locks? It sounds very painful!

I have a friend from the UK and she says the medical system there is horrible. :frown:

It's more a pain due to the sciatic nerve (the one that goes from the base of the spine through your leg) being irritated.

I am much better now.
I will speak to chiropractitioner asap.

And yes, UK's NHS is crap!

I've had sciatica and currently have a pinched nerve in my back, it feels like sciatica. Go to your GP and ask them to refer you to a physio therapist. When I had sciatica I saw a physio therapist and she got it back in order within a couple of weeks.
