Work, Simply Blog
Somehow, although we are past December, day seem to get longer. It's dark throughout the day, and we get only few hours of sunshine.
I am very happy I managed to drag Jacek out for a walk. It was so refreshing. I keep forgetting that there is something outside the four walls of work and home. It seems so "natural" for me these days that I don't go outside (I am not counting the trips to work and the supermarket). It seems like I lost my connection to the world. And the longer I stay in, the less I feel like taking a walk.
I got tired after this only half an hour walk we took and I am ready to go to bed now (it's only 18.11 here!).
And tomorrow - back to work and fight with all these things that never do what they are supposed to...
And another weekend's gone...

First of all, I have to tell you about a great company which provides organic food.
River Swale (the url works correctly only under Firefox - I am not too sure why...:| - sorry Opera!).
they have got a "box scheme" and they deliver to your door...
Thanks to them I can remember what REAL tomatoes should smell like and I eat kohl rabi for the first time since gods know when...
If you are an organic freak (like me) and live in Yorkshire, I would reccomend trying them. I am pretty sure I will become a valued customer
And that's it - no more good things today...
At work we have one tornado after another, my eyes still didn't get used to the contact lenses, I have got a migraine and by body hurts... :|
I am going to lay down for now and tomorrow - I am planning to go to work earlier - to do some testing... But recently, after Yule, I am not in such a good spirit when it goes to work. And now when the pain is back again (but it is getting better, instead of the standard three weeks per month filled with pain, now it's usually two
) I came back home earlier today. Just couldn't sit at this silly chair by my silly desk...

It's my second day with contact lenses on.
And I feel like they are all wrong! I managed to put hem in and take them out and today I managed to put them in (apparently I am doing really well - but i presume they have to say that to everyone;P).
I have got much weaker left eye, and I have got astigmatism in it as well - this means my left lens is funny shaped and much thicker.
I can see perfectly well on my right eye, but left is much worse that without the glasses. This causes problems with tripping over things etc.
And I told the optician that yesterday, but h said i need to wear it like that for a week and then they will see, as it may be just the case of my eye having problems adjusting. I am not sure whether this is right or not, but I have to go to work n 20 minutes and I can't see myself reading anything off the screen...
Should I make myself finish the week trial, or should give up already?

Silly, Simply Blog
I am in need of writing something, but I don't know what it is yet...
Like a writer's block, but I am no writer and I guess I have got one of these lonely days, which are empty and I am not sure what I can do with the coming evening.
I have got my books to read (they came yesterday, I ordered them from Amazon and I am sooo happy they came - I am studying the Druidry subject and I was stuck without these books) - but I am kinda glued to the computer...
Maybe I should dig out the only computer game I've ever liked playing (Diablo II) or something??

Today I got a present by post from the Santa that got lost on his (her) way [read - my Mother

It seems that all three of us (me, my brother and my sister) got a teddy bear each (just a reminder - I am 24, Filip is 19, Ola is 18!
).
And as well as teddies (which each of them were different - mine is named... Julia, Filip's is named... Filip and Ola's teddy is named... Pola
- they are only 7000 produced every year in Poland - and set amount of money from each sold teddy goes to a
Fundacja TVN which is a charity that helps children in need).
Ok - so as well as teddies, we all got new headphones:
and this is because we are all total audiophiles and we always sing, dance, listen to music.
My sister is very talented violinist, my brother plays guitar and drums, and I used to sing and can play flute and a bit on a guitar (but I am the less talented out of the trio).
I am going to put my new headphones to the test now!

I hope all of you had a great New Year's Eve!
I had a party at my place. There were only six of us, but we got totally crazy (I think we were pretending we are still 17-teen!) and I ended up with a massive fever yesterday.
They say your year will be just like the first day of it. well - my year will be HOT then! (or feverish ;P).
Everyone was trying to make some new years resolution, but I think I will pass on this one - I am not determined enough to change anything. And besides that, I think it doesn't matter when the resolution was made. To stick to it - this is what matters!
Now I am planning to take all the glass/cans/plastics/tetra paks/etc... to the place designated by the council, ad we still are not under the scheme that provides us with separate bins for these (we have got only general waste and paper). I don't mind walking them, in fact it makes me feel better when I know I tried and I succeeded. And I feel like I am making a difference (although everyone else at home think I am a bit... iffy
).
I hope you all had great time during last two weeks!

For last three days I've been in a lot of pain, thought I got used to it, but it surprises me regularly...
I will post some photos of the Secret Santa day we had at work later on, but now I'm off to bed as I'm doing some overtime tomorrow...

Shit shit shit!
I have emailed guys at Opera to ask about the "Add Friend" facility and find out why people are ok to add me (or anyone else) as they wish, without both sides agreeing to it - like on plenty other websites.
I really like myOpera - i found so many great people here, but recently there have been so many people adding me as their friend, mailing me , telling they will be my husband, they will love me forever and they will raise children with me...
C'mon - what is this? Do you think I am able to get you a visa to England, or something??
NO I CAN'T. And even if I could, what is the point? Geeeeez!
and you know what's the worst thing?
I am beginning to be extremely annoyed with myOpera, as I went through the forum and it seems like other people had the same problem some time ago, admins started looking into it... and they still are, after over a year...
I am working in IT myself, I was studying programming for three years - you will not tell me that "few lines of code" are so hard to develop.
Please tell me I don't have to look for another place?
It used to be so good here, few friends, people respected each other, I was not being stalked by males from god knows where, that haven't even posted their photo in here...
