In my short life, I have come to understand the principle called UPBRINGING.
A child is simply harmless at birth. They just live their lives like there is no tomorrow. They are simply anxious of nothing. They cry when they need to communicate something crucial to those around them. They smile and laugh as well as the case may be. They are just full of life.
However, as they continue to grow, their lives become more difficult. Not because they chose to. It just happens as they begin to understand their backgrounds at all levels, including family, friends, school etc. They unconsciously pick up some attitude along the line, some as a defence, some as a caution and some as a principle.
They could care less who is affected because a person in the flesh is naturally self-seeking at first. Eventually, these attitudes become their ways of life and somehow, it becomes permanent.
So, what I am saying is this, a person is primarily an innocent being and secondarily what they pick up as they grow up and eventually, what they decide to be as a matter of choice.
You, I mean you that you're reading this blog, you were ONCE INNOCENT and what you are today is a product of what you learnt and what you are ignorant of and what you chose to be.
I should let you know, however, that this world would be a better place if you choose to remain innocent; finding your source (that is GOD), knowing and understanding your identity in GOD, realising your Divine purpose in creation, and solving other peoples' problems. Only that way can you find fulfilment, significance and competence. And posterity would never forget that you once came to the world.
