Jump training Vertical Jumping: What Exercises Must You Do?

, , ,

Playing basketball is one of my hobbies. I have played basketball ever since the 5th grade and I plan to play until after I finish college. After years of playing basketball, one problem regarding my vertical jumping has always worried me.

I was just an average basketball player because I can not jump very high. I have tried different exercises in order to increase my jump but to avail. I did weight training but it seemed that my muscles just kept weighing me down instead of propelling me up into the air. In spite of the years of doing exercises like leaps and squats, my jump was still just average.

And just last year, I already thought that I would remain average until the day that I read an article regarding plyometrics. While surfing the Internet, I came across a website which was talking about increasing one's jump with the help of plyometrics. In addition to that, the website contained testimonials from different athletes who said that plyometrics helped them in increasing their jumps. I was skeptical at first so I looked for more testimonials about plyometrics. Indeed, there were very few people who said that plyometrics did nothing to their jumps. So, I decided to give plyometrics a try. And because this is all new to me, I needed a manual or a mentor. After looking for a mentor, I was not able to find one. And so, I began looking for a manual instead.

I came across the Jump Manual and began reading through its features and benefits. And to find out more about the Jump Manual, I also looked for as many user reviews as I can. In my search, I rarely found negative reviews so I decided to take a closer look at the Jump Manual.

I loved the Jump Manual's different features which include progress charts, individualized workout charts, money-back guarantee, free one-month coaching, nutritional program, iPod videos, and training video. The Jump Manual was a complete package since it did not just focus on the plyometrics exercises but it also had nutritional information.

The videos were a tremendous help since I was able to see how the exercises were done properly. So, if there was anything that I did not understand with the manual, I can easily refer to the videos. And being able to download the videos straight into my iPod, I can watch these wherever and whenever.

And even though I was not able to find a coach or trainer before, I instantly had an online coach when I bought the Jump Manual. I learned so much more from the online coach so I decided to extend my subscription after the free one-month offer was finished.

In less than one month, I was very happy to see great changes in my vertical jumping. What I was trying to do for the past many years, I was able to do with the Jump Manual in only a few weeks. With the help of the Jump Manual, I am now very happy to say that I am no longer an average basketball player anymore.
