On Sunday, October 7th L & W participated in the annual National Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk held at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA.
The Buddy Walk and Family Picnic is a fun-filled day that brings together family and community members to raise awareness, and celebrate the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their accomplishments and contributions.
This year, L & W Investigations were also the proud sponsors of the event picnic.
The Buddy Walk has become the largest fundraising event for the Massachusetts
Down Syndrome Congress and helps to fund MDSC sponsored programs
including First Call, Educator's Forum, and the annual MDSC Conference.
