Neal Lyons, Chairman and CEO,L&W Investigations Inc., Westborough, Massachusetts,
is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Kay as Managing Partner, L&W Investigations, Greater Toronto
Area. A Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native, Mark will operate the firm’s first international office.
Prior to joining L&W, Mark served 20 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, holding positions in investigations, intelligence, and management. During his career in law enforcement, Mark investigated cases involving fraud, financial crimes, organized crime and money laundering. In
2003, Mark was awarded a Commanding Officer’s Commendation for his leadership in drug enforcement in the Province of Alberta. In 2002, he participated in Canada’s first exchange of criminal interdiction specialists with U.S. law enforcement.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University, and the University of Calgary curriculum in strategic management. He is an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mark’s volunteer activities, includes work with the Alberta Cancer Foundation - Tour of Courage; and participation in events in The Netherlands to commemorate the Liberation of Holland. Mark is married with three children.
