Looks like it worked I found another language very Perl like, as far as what it was designed for. Ruby is just wonderful, simple and easy to install. Best of all there are at least two very good compilers to make ruby scripts standalone execs. They are both opensource too and work quite well. Ruby is a pure OOP language, though it allows procedural programming too. However, it still treats everything as objects behind the scene, wheather you like it or not. It comes with a wide variety of base packages that cover alot of ground and are extremely useful. Best of all Ruby's syntax is great its a clean and simple syntax that packs alot of power. Even better its all FREE!
