I must be crazy

I swear I have to be nuts. I'm finally writting a commercial application with Free Pascal's Lazarus. Basically its a clone of Delphi for FPC, with a RAD IDE. I am surprised it works as well as it does. Lazarus has come along way in usability and stability, far enough for serious usage. A killer combo of Lazarus and FPC, very powerful and quick dev time. I say this to all you C/C++ addicts, give FPC a try along with Lazarus. You realize Pascal in general is much more programmer friendly than C with a better and far cleaner syntax. Also clearly defined variable types, and a compiler thats far faster than any C compiler. FPC/Delphi are just as capable as C/C++, don't be fooled into thinking otherwise.I've seen a OS written purely in FPC so that alone proves its possible to anything you can in C. As I said the major plus is developing meaningful applications takes considerably less time and effort. For the record I know enough C to get into trouble, so I actually do have a clue to what I'm talking about.
