Its time for another installment of my tales of things I've encountered at work. Asp developers are high on the list, but there is worse. I'm talking about people that use software (php based) like phpbb. And then you wonder why they get hacked and such. I've seen the same happen with frontpage functionality based items. It ticks me off when they don't have enough sense to check and make sure its secure and maybe get a clue about what it is they are doing. I mean for php there is phpsec.org which is immensly useful in seeing what not to do and howto write secure code. I'm sure there is such a thing for asp developers too. There is no excuse for writting insecure code at this day and age . It just makes me very mad at the sheer lack of clues. That's all folks this topic is dead.
