Cloning

I recently from my google personalized homapage a new link that as I read it really got my attention. For those curious here is a link. Article Link. Anyhow I would like to post a qoute here from this article and this is what made sit up and go HELLO!

Dr Hwang has gained worldwide attention for his breakthroughs, such as cloning the world's first human embryos and extracting stem cells from them.

This year, he unveiled the world's first cloned dog.

Human embryos and a dog! This says to me if a human embryo can be cloned then to clone a entire human being it trivial. I mean you have the embryo, I'd think all that needs to happen is it gets implanted and starts to grow. Now on the subject of a dog, does this mean I'll be able to have dying or dead dog cloned and brought back to life if I have a DNA sample? I'm the kind of person that would be like cool! However, cloning people, strikes me kind of like identical twins, that have the same DNA. I mean a identical twin is like a natural clone, same embryo that just splits into two. As a result my view on cloning is just like having a artificial twin made. I mean think of the diseases we can cure if research just continues on this stuff. I'm not agaisnt cloning nor can I say am I for it at least officially. Anyway that what I had to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!
