. When the game begins, Richard the Lionheart has just recaptured the port city of Acre from occupying Saracens. With a base of operations established, the Crusaders prepare to march south. Their true target is Jerusalem – which they intend to recapture in the name of the Church. However, Saladin, leader of the Saracen army, currently rules the city. Stinging from his army’s defeat at Acre, he will not allow Richard to humiliate him again. The Saracens are massing at the ruins of Fortress Arsuf, intending to ambush the Crusaders and prevent them from reaching Jerusalem. . These war maneuvers have left the rest of the Holy Land wide open. While Richard and Saladin battle one another, the men left to govern in their stead have begun taking advantage of their newfound positions of power. Exploitation, manipulation, and provocation rule the day. It is in this chaotic mess that Altaïr now finds himself. He is ordered to eliminate those most active in their exploitation. This is how the Assassin begins his mission. . Along the way, however, he will begin to discover that his targets are bound by more than just a shared interest in personal gain. They share membership in a secret society familiar to the Hashshashin. And they are not simply looking for profit. Their true goal and how they plan to achieve it leads to a modern-day conspiracy with secrets to be discovered during the course of the story. (wikipedia) . Watch out the E3 demo of the game.... .

Need for Speed: ProStreet (NFS: PS) is the latest installment of Electronic Arts' popular racing game series Need for Speed. On May 21, 2007, Electronic Arts published a teaser trailer of ProStreet, and was then officially announced ten days later on May 31, 2007. Official release date for North America is set to October 31, 2007, and for Europe to the following day, November 1. .
. Need for Speed: ProStreet will take the Need for Speed series in a new direction of gameplay. Instead of an arcade style of gameplay which has dominated the series, ProStreet will focus much more on realism and move closer to, but not into, racing simulation, and still with options to use driving assistants to make driving easier and more arcade-like. Unlike its predecessors, all racing in ProStreet will take place on closed tracks, thus making it the first game in the series not animating illegal racing behaviour since Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, hence there will not be any cops in the game. Performance tuning will take up a large part of gameplay in a way that even a small adjustment of the shape of a car's body will impact its performance. Autosculpt is back from Carbon, but with much greater detail. According to an Electronic Arts employee, there will be thousands of aftermarket upgrades, visual and performance, from real performance brands. . ProStreet will feature next-generation graphics aiming for a more photo-realistic feel, and more advanced physics. It will also be the first Need for Speed game to include damage modelling since 2000's Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. The new damage system is said to be very accurate, as a collision with any object in the game world may render a car damaged or even useless. (wikipedia)

With no knowledge of where he came from or whether he is even human Alex is forced to kill to discover his past and avenge what has been done to him. He soon discovers that he has the ability to absorb the power of those whom he kills, taking their memories, skills, and even their appearance. . Above these new found talents Alex is suddenly thrown into a war between three different powers. The Black Watch Special Forces, a horribly viral mutated populace, and the prototype himself all wage war in the streets of New York City. . The entire game is revolved around a giant conspiracy in which the developers explain is designed to reflect real world government information secrets. (wikipedia) Trailer .

Halo 3, the third video game in the Halo trilogy, is a first-person shooter under development by Bungie Studios for the Xbox 360. An official announcement on the developer's website states that Halo 3 will end the current story arc of the Halo trilogy. A public beta test of the multiplayer component of the game occurred between May 16, 2007 and June 10, 2007. The final version of the game is due to be released on September 25, 2007 in the United States, Canada and Australia, September 26, 2007 in Europe and September 27, 2007 in Japan. . The game will not begin right where Halo 2 left off. The new comic mini-series, Halo: Uprising, will bridge the story gap between the ending of Halo 2, and the beginning of Halo 3. . When the game begins, Master Chief is back on a thoroughly conquered and Covenant controlled Earth. Covenant ships are hovering over an excavation site a few miles from the ruins of New Mombasa and have uncovered a large artifact in this site. Cortana is still a prisoner of Gravemind. The Arbiter, along with the remaining Elites and some portion of the Grunts, have allied themselves with the human forces after splitting from the rest of the Covenant in Halo 2. . Recent promotional items have had a strong memorial bent to them, hinting at the demise of Master Chief, though strictly through speculative circumstantial evidence. . The Achievements show the story mode will be divided into nine main levels, which gives some information about the game's length and an indistinct view of the story arc. .
. Graphics: . Halo 3 utilizes a proprietary, in-house graphics engine, often referred to as the "Halo 3 Engine". This engine builds upon the technologies of the Halo 2 Engine (and previously the Halo Engine) and is re-optimized for the architecture of the Xbox 360. . As detailed on the Bungie Studios website, it will employ advanced graphics technologies such as High Dynamic Range, global lighting, real-time reflections and depth of field effects within cutscenes. Certain surfaces, including the Master Chief's visor (when visible) and the armor of a Ghost, will have real-time reflections (These were, however, not present within the Beta.). Most of the dynamic objects in the game will cast real-time shadows on themselves and the environment around them, including the game's plant life. Halo 3 will use normal, bump, and parallax mapping to give surfaces more detail without dramatically increasing the number of polygons.
. Bungie has also stated that the draw distance of the game will be in excess of 10 miles (16 km). Sophisticated new atmospheric models are used in the game to replace the traditional skybox, allowing several layers of cloud and atmospheric cover, and even a pseudo "space" beyond that. Water effects are also dramatically improved, and water can now reflect and refract images simultaneously. As well as being able to simulate effects such as waterfalls, water will visually flow around objects in its path and splash when players, vehicles, or other objects travel through it.
