Shalom!

Got back from my almost month-lenth vacation in Israel headbang It was so great! 3 seas, awesome Israeli breakfasts, handsome military men. Tel Aviv is now my new love with vibrant night life. Every cafe we were in, had a menu in English and some even in Russian.
We were living in a nice neighbourhood called Florentin which at first sight looks somewhat like a ghetto but looking close is really a cool place to be and hang out.
Was very impressed with the old Jaffa, an ancient port city believed to be one of the oldest in the world and walking there feels like travelling on a time machine.
All in all I have a load of impressions and full of positive yes

Alright now, I'm off to cachaca party in my new apartment party drunk wizard
P.S. Million of photos HERE

Till DEBT do us part

Funny thing has happened to me and my mom almost at the same time. First of all, gotta say that our family has a strong belief that you can’t afford a thing till you have money to pay for it. I know there’s such a tradition worldwide to borrow from banks and buy whatever you want and we all know some pity results. It’s definitely not my thing. Who can promise he’ll be safe and sound and employed tomorrow?
Anyway, several days ago my mom’s friend (let’s name her Rita) asked my mom to borrow some money to buy a laptop. She fights for all kind of social rights and believes that Internet is a tool.
Gotta mention that women is unemployed for many years and so is her husband. But they manage to survive on her mom’s and mother-in-law’s money, her good friend supplies her with money for this and for that and she has a support from the government. And I must say, they don’t only survive, they live pretty well for an unemployed couple.
A week ago Rita’s mom sadly was diagnosed with cancer. I think you can imagine how much it takes, financially and emotionally to treat that kind of a disease. Yes, government helps but with so much bureaucracy some supplies come after a person’s death, I’ve lost my aunt to cancer last September so I know how it goes.
Rita, herself has some major health issues but she’s a kind of a person, who lives today and I like it but to some point.
My mom considered, having a loved one with cancer, laptop is not the priority, isn’t it? What is more, Rita was given money for that not long ago but preferred to buy a flat TV. While my mom was specifying all the need and expenses Rita will have for cancer treatment, the woman freaked out and just hung up.

Almost the same day my own friend got in a car accident and asked me for some money to get it fixed. Around 1300$. I wanted to help him so much, I agreed no matter how big deal it is for me. He said we’ll make a debt warrant, I hesitated at first because I trust him on that but then, considering no one in his family knows where he gets the money from, I’ve concluded it’s a good idea. I checked it out in the net how to create such a paper so it can be valid and when he came over I’ve suggested him to write one. He’s agreed and started writing.
But to his opinion, there were too much to write and he was in a hurry and he said it seems I treat him like a cheater and if I’m not willing to lend him that money I should’ve said that before. I was stunned and didn’t know what to say, really. I asked, are you sure nothing will happen to you and if so, what shall I do with this debt? Go to your family and say-hey, your son’s borrowed 1300$ from me, be so kind, pay me back? And they will say- and who the hell are you? It’s not the amount of money I can lose easily. With a written and signed debt warrant I, at least, will have guarantees. He felt insulted of what I said, took off and went away.

So, this is how we lose friends, sad.

Every time I log in...

...I find a whole different Opera which I don't know how to use scared Will it ever stop?

Ta-Dam!

coffee Hello! There was a time when sitting on a bed at my summer house I was really bored. All I could have fun with was my cell phone. I’ve installed an Opera Mini and in the bookmarks there was a reference to my Opera community. Never found any sense in blogging but under the huge boredom factor I’ve decided to give it a try. Who could have thought that it’ll become a world to me… http://my.opera.com/allangie/blog/
I’ve met a lot of great people. Many of them I still keep in touch with and even met in person although they live far away. Started several romances even (not at the same time, of course) and got nothing learning some smile
I’ve stopped being an active member of the community for a long while due to very intense “offline” life and when I came back for a sneak peak it wasn’t the same it used to be…
So I feel like introducing myself again to the Opera Family wink
My name is Alla. I don’t believe in borders and consider myself a citizen of the world. I have no age lol No man since Oct.24 2010, no kids, no pets but a very busy life. I’ve changed a bit since my first blog here in 2007. I love fashion and nothing can affect my mood better than music.
I use Samsung 5230 mobile and consider it the best of all times heart I only wish it had 3G in it. I used to be a dedicated “phonie”, a person who uses the cell to blog and for Internet but for the past 2 years I find it more comfy to surf the net from my Asus laptop.
My fave alcohol (in case we have a night out one day wink) is rum, cachaca and champagne.
I’m not a party girl any more, not yet a family girl.
I’ve gained some extra pounds which I’ll get rid of by New Year.
I have quite a slow Internet but it’s unlimited and free yes!
I love to eat but have to quit chef Some things I’m not really into- sports, cooking and there must be something else I forgot sad No idea how being a food-lover and sport-hater I’ll manage to lose the weight … doh
Well, what else can I say… I’m on FB and ICQ so just ask lol
P.S. It’s unbelievable you’ve kept me in your friends lists for so long heartlol

Remembering his majesty Stockholm:)

As most of you know, I've spent my vacations in Stockholm with my precious iSissy As I've been a very busy girl recently, I had no time to share that wonderful experience of mine with you. Now it's time to fill in the gap. Pictures speak better than words, so here're the bits of the story wink

On my very first day, after checking in to the hotel, we've found ourselves at Kerst's fiend's Vasco 30's birthday party

Ice- cream and cookies by the water

Look at the iron rat, Muneco bigeyes

Funny trash cans, girls

... and boys

Tulips and daffodils, just like the ones I have in my Facebook Farm wink

When we were going from store to store and looked up, this is what we saw

Taxi's in Stockholm are expensive and look mostly like this

The food is good, rather it's lunch at Ikea

...or a buffet at the vegeterian restaurant with the best view

Here I am, drinking coffee with a lollipop (it melts in your coffee making it even more d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s coffee )

Of course, I couldn't pass by this Mini without humping it a bit love

I sent this sheep as a birthday e-postcard for my Dannii

And this is my neighbourhood, Slussen happy In the center of the city, close to Gamla Stan (Old city)

Sweden loves me, my name is everywhere lol
