Experiment: Web Without a Flash Player

So the news is all over the Web. Adobe stopped development of its flash player for Mobile. I wanted to know how was I dependent on Flash for my Web browsing and media consumptions. So two days ago, I uninstalled flash.

I'm pretty sure, we (the Web industry) can do better than…

Flash video should be spared, and iOS should support flash video with caption support.

HTML5 video is not ready, and I'm not all gung-ho on using multiple encodes and then flash fallback.
