This was BCIL’s first project. It has 58 homes on 47 acres, located on the southern fringes of Bangalore. As late as August '07, a leading weekly news magazine declared this campus as the fourth most coveted property in Bangalore. It is now a decade old with vegetation that has slowly healed a land that was originally a barren outcrop on the southern fringe of the city. The once barren stretch is now verdant with trees, vegetation, water, birds, a sacred forest and a stargazing dome. Trans-Indus has a natural swimming pool, sports facilities, a health and meditation centre and a restaurant called Stillwaters. It has voice, data and television connectivity as well. Trans Indus continues to draw discerning attention for its pioneering vision and values.
