Mainstreaming sustainability - BCIL way

BCIL mainstreams ecologically sustainable real estate options with focus on localised energy generation, has water solutions that reduce dependence on state infrastructure and waste systems that stress on re-use. It is a myth that green buildings cost the sky compared to constructing one with regular building materials. This is an important piece of information for people who shy away from going green in construction. Such mental blocks need to be demolished with fresh and renovated thinking. — This was one of the highlights of the first ever press meet organised by Bio-diversity Conservation of India (BCIL), an alternative technology enterprise dedicated to green solutions in building patterns. The group, known for its sustainable and recycling initiatives in construction, took the opportunity to have an update on its latest project in Yelahanka, off Doddaballapur Main Road, ‘BCIL Collective.’
