Stupidity or love?

It left me wondering....why wouldn't he tell her to keep away from me?
I sat down on my favorite chair, got my phone and just like i do every other time, decided to visit afew of the social sites i'm part of.
A friend request is normal in a social site like facebook but with my experience, a friend request from a dude(total stranger) followed by an inbox is abit creepy.
He starts by telling me to stop interfering with his relationship. Un aware of what exactly/who he meant, i go like,
''what relationship??''
only to find out that the other party is a close friend(platonic) that he'd damped a while back and has denied him a second chance despite having his child.
After realising i'm not intimidated by his threats, he resorts to insults.
That left me wondering why would a twenty something year old dude, with a child and well educated act in that manner?
I understand the threat felt in the presence of those of the same species but when 26 starts acting 17, doesn't that call for an intervention?
I think 16 should be the new 30 in some situations.
Why would one think that keeping other people from those they feel they love would make them get what they want?
I guess we can neither control what to feel nor to whom to feel that way for.
You can for a relationship but not love,
you can force intimacy but not passion...
It's pretty simple for me, ''LOVE COMES AND GO, AND WHEN IT HAS DECIDED TO GO, LET GO!''
People come into our lives some leave, we leave some. When we decide to go back to those we left, we sometimes hope that would be exactly as we left but that is mostly never the case. More so we usualy go back for reasons but its so sad that failure on where we left for carries the highest probabily.
