One good thing about living here is that Pattaya for all its faults has an abundance of good places to eat. Fresh bread baked at German, French and Italian bakerys. Pizza made by Italians, good coffee, Italian ice cream, and if the mood strikes...MacDonalds and Burger King. A draw back is that wine is expensive...the government taxes all alcohol by volume not alcohol percentage so local spirits are cheap and the local beer relatively expensive.
