Tropical islands seems to be a January-theme in the world of casual gaming. Living at quite a high latitude, I really don't mind.
Ok, so maybe you looked at Robinson already. The game I wanted to mention this time is
Rescue at Rajini Island. (BTW:
Totem Tribe might also interest you).
Rajini Island is also of the hidden object genre. Briefly, the purpose of those game is to find hidden clues among beautifully crafted sceneries. Over time, you will develop a more trained eye, while at the beginning you can rely on hints provided by the game.
Back to Rajini, the plot here is to locate Captain Walsh and his crew of adventures. This game is more like a detective story, where you gather clues and hopefully recover the lost adventurers. The soundtrack is really nice, but you do need some patience in this game as the puzzles can be quite tricky.

Hello again!
Just wanted to give a short review of a new game based on the 1719 novel by Daniel Defoe, Robinson Crusoe. Who hasn't toyed with the idea of living on an isolated, tropical island? Well, at least a couple of weeks doesn't sound too bad. Unfortunately, as a Robinson, your stay may be a little longer. The
Adventures of Robinson Crusoe is of course more of the latter setting. In fact, you're stranded on the island for 28 years. The game combines hidden object play and island adventures. Your ultimate goal is to complete a boat so you can finally escape.
I personally enjoyed the graphics and atmosphere of the game quite a lot. Hopefully you find it worth checking out as well.
