, , , ...

Even better than the diaper cakes is having the baby! It's both an exiting time and a tiring time. You can help reduce your stress and tiredness levels when baby arrives, by getting as much done now as you can. When you are about 30 days from your due date here are a few things to do before baby is born. I am certain you have recognized that being pregnant can be both exciting and exhausting at the same time because there is so much that has to be done before the baby arrives. So preparation is key to helping you enjoy those first couple of weeks after baby is born. Here are a few helpful ideas in order to help you prepare for your baby's arrival in your home. You need to begin them about 30 days from your due date and you begin using all your new baby gifts sets.

All do it yourself tasks need to be finished. You may think that when the baby is born then you'll finish them, but that just won't happen. It might be tough to believe but the baby's arrival could delay you finishing these projects for months. So any unfinished task should be completed. Also don't start any kind of brand new tasks unless they're absolutely necessary. Many new parents choose to do home improvements before the baby is born, they are motivated to get things done they have been putting off. If you have began home improvement projects complete them. If you do not complete them now, it could take months or even years after the baby is born to finish them. And do not begin any new projects unless you are certain that you can complete then before the baby is born.

Babies need to have the temperature at about 70 degrees in your home So this is the time to monitor your home. Set the thermostat to seventy and monitor the areas baby will occupy and see if the areas remain a consistent temperature. The consistency of the your homes temperature is often ignored when preparing your house for baby's arrival. Babies do well in homes that are about 70 degrees. In the rooms that the baby will occupy the most set the thermostat to seventy degrees, and then monitor to determine if the room remains at seventy. You only need to do this in the rooms where the baby will spending a lot of time.

Everyone has told you this and they are right, those first few weeks will be crazy. So get as much done now as possible. Cleaning the house completely right now is must, if you are not physically able to do that, have friends help, or hire a cleaning service. Maintain the clean house by putting things away and cleaning up right after you have finished your meals. You never know when baby will decide it's the perfect time for him to arrive.

Do a stock-up shopping spree. Daily items like shampoo, toothpaste and soap are things you want to stock up on. Stock up on paper supplies such as toilet tissue and paper towels. Include paper plates in that list because there may be a few times when baby is born that you will not want to wash dishes. Make sure that you include cleaning supplies in your shopping spree. Make sure you have plenty of clothing detergent including the ones you will wash baby's clothes and diapers in.Make sure you have all the everyday items you use on hand at the house.

Now is also the time to stock-up on non-perishable grocery items. Again the more you can get done now, will be so helpful those first few weeks, so consider making and freezing meals. For two weeks make double the amount you would normally make and freeze half. Also when you're grocery shopping conside throwing in a few frozen meals or snacks. They Will be convenient. Also make a list of the perishable items you use each week. This way you won't have to try and remember what you need you can just get the list and go or give someone else the list to help you out.

Always have your cell phone charged is another great reminder. Look to make certain you always have at least a half tank of gas. Being prepared now will save time when the baby decides to make it's appearance.

There will be so many sweet moments you will want to capture those first couple of months, so take the time now to get ready. So buy film or memory cards and make sure you have enough. The same goes for batteries make sure all the cameras and recorders are charged and that you have enough extra batteries. those moments only come once, so capture them while you can.
