Slightly North of Center

My mac died earlier this week. Hard drive problems. This is the third hard drive I've had with this computer over the course of 2 years or so. The process of getting the hard drive fixed was relatively painless because the Genius Bar people at the Apple store are competent and smart. What makes the crash AWFUL though is getting everything set up again. My calendars won't sync up with my MobileMe account. This is a big problem when you have a busy schedule. ALso, losing all your pictures, documents, etc. is always awful.

But there is an upside to all of this - they replaced my keyboard and casing for free so the computer looks bright and shiny!
