I hate people with naturally born nice teeth, don't know why crooked teeth'd be sexy. I want mine perfect straight and pearly white, like those. At the same time, braces was like hell: food got stuck in the brackets. And yo, I'm a metal mouth monster. But foremost, I was having a serious overbite with braces on. It did irritate my gum. I remember having to meet orthodontist more than twice a day for my poorly irritated gum and some brackets flying off for no reason ( I actually doubt that I might have swallowed some while sleeping, hmmmm). Taking it off was, indeed, quite an experience. You need couple years to straighten them teeth out, but a few mins to take those ugly brackets off (odd); then voila, now you can smile to the world. I love the feeling of light touch when my tongue meets the front and the back of my teeth. Now I must wear retainer, not only for maintenance but for further progress while expatriating from home. Still I have a slight overbite, but it's alright, only few mm to go. I'm a sucker for braces and it's pain in the butt, but really worth it till the end: a total makeover that can brighten your smile and your day.
