Tiffany Hall Sentenced to Life w/o Parole

(Belleville, Illinois) In a case involving the most horrific series of crimes committed by a woman in recent history, Tiffany Hall has been sentenced. I'll not rehash what I've already written about the murders she committed which included three young children, a mother and a child slashed out of the womb. Those reports are here and here.

Today, she pleaded guilty to murdering the three children, the mother and the unborn fetus in a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. Actually, it was four counts of murder and one count of intentional homicide. Ripping out a fetus isn't murder, apparently.

Some may consider it is ghoulish, but her crimes, as described by St. Clair County State's Attorney Robert Haida, are worth wider exposure.

In court, Haida recounted the shocking details of the crime that began on Sept. 15, 2006.

Hall struck her friend Jimella Tunstall, 23, on the head repeatedly with a table leg at Hall's mother's house, then cut Tunstall's fetus from her womb in a bathtub. After Tunstall bled to death, Hall dumped her body in an East St. Louis lot, Haida said.

Hours later, Hall told police in Illinois she had been sexually assaulted in St. Louis and given birth to a stillborn child after the attack. When police arrived, she had the dead fetus with her, claiming it was her own. She refused to be examined at a hospital.

Three days later, Hall visited the father of two of Tunstall's children and the unborn child, Haida said. The father treated all the children as his own, and was caring for them, Haida said. Hall lied to the father, saying Tunstall wanted him to let her pick up the children and Tunstall's vehicle, he told police.

"He relayed to the officers that was the last time he saw his three children," Haida said.

Hall then drowned the three children -- DeMond Tunstall, 7, Ivan Tunstall-Collins 2, and Jinella Tunstall, 1 -- in the same bathtub where she killed their mother, Haida said.

Authorities said Hall's story began to unravel on Sept. 21, 2006 at the funeral for the fetus, when she told her boyfriend, home on leave from the military, that the baby wasn't his and that she killed a pregnant woman and stole the fetus. He told police.

So, Hall killed the mother, slitting her open to grab the fetus, and then, presumably with calm demeanor three days later, she took the kids and killed them.

You know, when Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to life in prison for killing at least 17 kids, I just assumed that his neighbors would treat him like a festering boil, ready to be popped. I was right, Dahmer was eliminated by citizen's execution.

Maybe Hall will see a similar welcoming committee. Maybe not.

As difficult as it is to understand what has been reported about this story, I find it disturbing that more hasn't been reported. Had a man committed these crime, Bill O'Reilly, Nancy Chase, Glenn Beck and others would be chewing the fat with every conceivable expert. But, NO! It never even made national news.

One last thing, Tiffany Hall isn't crazy and she's not too bright. She's been tested in both areas.
