Refreshing and very well said.

I think on this side of the water, the police wouldn't have been nearly so polite.

That took guts!

sean brechin 4. November 2009, 08:27

Dave, I imagine your right about your side of the water... especially if the 2004 republican conference is anything to go by.

It does take guts Adele, but that kind of thing is a really liberating experience...
An old friend and I used to walk down the kings road chelsea on a friday after being payed... I guess it was more dancing than walking.... We used to smile and sing and be happy, shouting out that it was payday and we should all be happy and go have a drink. A lot of folk used to ignore us. But we managed to get a lot of smiles and laughs from people, which can be a hard thing to do in the middle of london where all seem so misaerable. Not exactly the same as the clip, but the public display of attempting to make the miserable bots of london smile and be happy takes a similar amount of guts as it did the guy in the clip... It makes you feel good.

I am so sad not to see actions like that in my country.
I like these activists very much.
And yes, "no fear" is the current agenda but...
I must see the big majority in my country dying of fear.
Of course you cannot tell in normal life but you can tell when there is a confrontation, where ever it should happen, in a supermarket in the post office, in the bus..., not one human being has the guts to assist someone who is being wronged, they all look to the ground in a very strange way. I hate it.
And when you start to speak about the New World Order agenda and similar things even your friends get weird and nobody wants to hear about it. It makes me sick...

Peace, love and NO FEAR, wishes
Anodyne

P.S. And congrats to your country having such activists and fearless people.

dog has nothing to do then she licks eggs!

sean brechin 18. November 2009, 17:24

Anodyne, we seem to think the same on this one... It saddens me too to see people do nothing when so many wrongs are happening around them. hopefully people like this can spread the courage we need.

Ermmm... Dyzer, I'm not sure what you mean... I've seen a dog lick its balls, but never eggs.

dyzer 19. November 2009, 08:27

Dave!!! you've got there that just do nothing?, went out of town have a beer with meat and made a good break, but the girls do not forget!, we knee-deep snowdrifts and slush, so you have a sad face
