Trail running rules

Ok, I will tell you all this now to save you the embarrassment in the future. There are two main rules when running on trails. The first is obvious but still hard to master, DON'T GET LOST. That's gonna happen no matter what you do so I tend not to worry about that one. The second one is the one I forgot about today, ALWAYS WATCH YOUR FEET AND THE GROUND. Do not look around the forest you are running through and let your mind wander about how nice it is to be running through it because if you do then you will end up like me and trip on a stupid root that sticks a foot off the ground and almost kill yourself. I managed to get away without too many scratches but I've done worse. Having said that, I still love trail running, it keeps the run interesting and it's different everyday b/c you never know what is going to happen (a rabbit could say run out in front of you and almost kill you for instance).

All but two of my marks are posted and I'm doing good so far. Made it through equine with possibly the greatest mark ever, yes that's right, the elusive 69. It's possibly the perfect mark for a crappy course like that one. All my other courses went fine, so it was good that I wasn't really worried about them (although I still got two more left so maybe I should be a little worried but now that equine is up I'm more confident that I passed the rest). I still haven't figured out what to do with everything in my room yet either but I got a couple of days to figure that all out so hopefully by Friday everything will be up and running here.

Oh and so you all know, I have changed the settings so that anyone can post comments to the different blogs so I expect some good comments from all y'all.
