My OperaFirst week finished

Well my first week in the real world has been good. I've been allowed to do a lot of different things. Had my hand up the ass of more cows than I can count and got to help out with some surgeries. Next week should also be interesting as there are some good surgeries for me to observe. It's also very difficult for me to keep turning down all these animals that people around the clinic are offering to me, some of them are really cute and well trained but the owners just can't afford the treatment, but I vowed not to get any more animals until after I graduated so I'm sticking with it.
Big news on the travelling front....I may be heading to Vegas in August for my older brother's bachelor party. Once I get more info on it I'll have to check it out and see if I can't stop into California at some point to visit up with Andrew but I'll see later on. Beyond that not much else is new. I have to give a speech for my older brother's wedding but I have time to prepare that so I'm not too worried at the moment but ask me how I'm doing in August and I'm sure I'll be a little concerned at that point. Well Ottawa just lost so it's all up to Edmonton to bring the Cup back to Canada. GO OILERS!!!!
