I don't know how I did it but I survived large animal vet med last week with only one minor incident when a cow stepped on my foot and missed the steel toe (my foot only hurt for half an hour and then I was fine). But small animal this week has been killing me and it's only been two days. I tore up my thumb opening up one of the dog runs so now I got a stupid bandage on my right thumb which makes me pretty useless at certain tasks. Then today we were trying to hold a dog down to take blood and trim its nails and it was not happy. I had the back end but couldn't get the legs underneath the dog so they were off to the side facing me and it kicked around the entire time and managed to give me two good scratches just above my elbow. I also have random scratches on a couple of my fingers which I can only assume was from some dog or cat clawing at me at some point. I'm kinda scared to deal with horses now b/c they spaz out way more than dogs and cats and if they get a hold of me then I'm in big doodoo. If I don't post within the next week then you know I didn't make it, it was nice knowing you all, try not to fight too much over all my stuff.
