Sick at home

Well this officially sucks. Here I get up at my usual 6:15 time and just feel horrible, I mean I was able to eat my breakfast but it didn't help one bit. I still feel like I'm going to hurl which means I'm stuck at home all alone for the day with no one to talk to b/c the rest of you get to go to work and have fun (dang it).
Ok, coolest thing I've seen in the past few days would have to be the dog that swallowed a AA battery. Surgery was not an option so we did the next best thing, we stuck 60mL of hydrogen peroxide down his throat and made him puke it back up. Luckily when this dog chewed the battery he hadn't perforate the inner metal casing so there is a very minimal chance of esophageal corrosion. Pretty cool to see a dog puke up something that could have caused a huge problem, kinda makes me remember why I went into this whole profession (so ya that sounds weird but I don't care).
Other than that I can talk about my golf game which has just taken off (hopefully I don't jinx it by typing about it now). Jeff and I have been going out golfing with two vets at the clinic. Monday we played 18 and I shot a 99 (which included a birdie 2 on a par 3), also good to note that this is the first time I have broken 100 in a round. Then yesterday we played 9 after work and I topped that by shooting a 45 (if I didn't completely screw up on the par 5's then it could have easily been a 42 which is huge for me). So ya, I'm happy with my golf game at the moment and I'll keep trying to get out there b/c it's so much more fun when you play well. Anyways, I'm off to spend an exciting day of laundry, sleeping, and watching soccer (I'd rather be at work though).
