Cardio rotation

So I'm sure you're all waiting to hear my crazy stories about this girl in my cardio rotation (for those of you not in my class she is high half the time in class and seems like a complete airhead and was part of team super alternative). Well sorry to disappoint you all but there was no real big thing that she did, just a bunch of small crap that's starting to get to me (at least this rotation is only a week long).
Today we are doing a surgery to fix a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) and the genius walks in halfway through without a cap or mask (now this may not seem obvious to you non-vet students but they have been drilling this into our heads for two years now). And it's not like she didn't have a cap or mask b/c she was wearing them earlier. Early in the day we had run an ECG on this dog and then weren't sure what to do next. So her idea was to sit at the front of the small animal clinic and wait until someone came and got us....what kind of a stupid idea is that? I ain't waiting around and hope that someone searches the clinic and finds us, so I said screw that idea and ran off and found one of the techs who told me that we had an hour to kill before the surgery (luckily I didn't listen to the retard or I would have been sitting around for hours and probably missed part of the surgery). The consistent thing is that she is so damn spacy that our prof (O'Grady) suggested we tie a rope to her so we'd be able to find her b/c she's always trying to turn down random halls on our way to a client room. Having said all that I was happy b/c she wasn't super excited about scrubbing in on the surgery which meant I got to and luckily the one doing the surgery was the hottie (O'Sullivan for those of you who were unaware that she is very attractive, but she's married so I'm outta luck with that
).
Not much else to add to all this. Got one more day of dealing with her (I liken her to a mosquito, at first you're thinking okay that's a little annoying but it's not as bad as people say but then after a little while you're ready to squish the thing b/c it just keeps getting on your nerves). And with that I will leave this for another few days.
