My OperaWeek is over!!!!!

Well as much fun as my cardiology rotation was, I'm kinda glad it's over because I don't have to deal with that crap anymore. I didn't know it was possible but this girl seemed to get dumber as the week went on. On Friday we got to see the small animal surgeons remove an intracardiac tumour (very cool, the heart was stopped completely for about 8 minutes and then they didn't get it started up on it's own for almost half an hour, it was awesome to see it). So after the excitement is pretty much done, one of the surgeons glances over and comments on the idiot's sandals.....which if you know anything about surgery is a huge no no. Let's just say I tried to distance myself as much as I could from her because I don't want to be associated with that.
The other thing was that it seemed at the beginning of the week she knew what she was talking about and could answer questions but by the end she seemed to have lost it all. There were questions about why there was a murmur in this particular case and I thought it was kinda obvious but apparently not because she said about 5 different things and got nowhere, finally he asked me and I answered right away with the right answer.
Now the rest of my summer begins. Got some plans for the next few weeks possibly. Always got my Monday volleyball but I may be heading up to a cottage the end of this week and I'm definitely still camping starting on the 25th. Now I just gotta finish up this case report for my externship and then make up a little presentation for this bbq that I'm having with the staff at the clinic I did my externship at. Not much else to tell you all now, my week is finally over and I can relax again, but I'll update you all on how the camping and such went, enjoy the scorching heat out there.
