The following is the fourth in a series of articles analyzing the major problems that the G20 leaders should tackle to stabilize the global financial markets and rebalance the world economy. - Ed. By Richard Kozul-Wright The recriminations over events in Copenhagen will likely continue for some time.
However, when things do settle down, it seems certain that moving the discussion forward will have to do a better job at connecting the climate and development challenges than has been the case to date.
Growth matters to most developing countries and the idea of freezing the current level of global inequality over the next half century or more as the world goes about trying to solve the climate problem is both economically and politically unacceptable.
