Love to go fishing? If, yes, then you should know Chuja-do (island), an island known as a top-notch spot for fishing, thanks to a variety of fish and the beautiful nature, which captures visitors' hearts and even make thems even want to settle there.
Chuja-do, located far northwest of Korea's largest southern island Jeju-do, has long been known as a fishermen's heaven, but from now on, more people will love the place since a new Olle, a Jeju-do dialect word meaning "narrow path," course invites trekkers to experience the hidden beauty of the island.
This newest trekking course numbered 18-1 opened on June 28 and is regarded as one of the hardest Olle courses, according to Jeju Olle Incorporated, a non-profit organization promoting environment-friendly walking courses on Jeju-do. It takes six to eight hours to finish the 17.7-kilometer course linking upper and lower Chuja-do, with many hills along the way, such that it is more like mountaineering than walking.
