a walk in the park

I went to the botanical gardens today, and let myself get lost among all the beautiful autumn coloured trees. I love this time of year, and it's only just beginning

The air is starting to get cold (I can wear gloves and scarves again! woo!) and all the leaves are turning such beautiful colours. I feel like I have so much more energy than I did during the summer too, like I am coming out of hibernation

I went through the park near where I live on my way home, I took the last picture there, standing behind my favourite benches. I love the view overlooking the swans and ducks in the pond, and across Edinburgh to the castle

ooooh i love Autumn too! I got to wear my wool hat today eeeee

been waiting for October cause i figured it's not weird to wear a woolly hat now!

I'm also waiting for that first morning i walk about and get to take a big inhale of crisp icy air mmmm

Lixxylu: I love woolly hats too, but I buy one every winter and then never wear it

I saw a great one of someone the other day which had little bear ears on the sides

I want one of those!!

old master: hehe, yes it does a bit! I loved the reflections of the autumn trees against the blue of the sky.

Here there are still 24 degrees during the day. I am still wearing t-shirt and shorts. It is not the typical October then, usually it is much colder, rainy and misty.

Here we also have prolonged summer with temperatures around 25 degrees C during the day. Though, in mornings and evenings, temperature falls and it is so pleasant to go for a walk then.

I can't wait to have temperatures like that all day long.

oooo im so posting my bear-ear hat now! Mines a kinda dusky pink and i dont like pink but i bought it years ago just for the ears! it gets weird looks but its so cute, buy one!
