I've never heard of Stratos but that was so cute!

The kid's parents look sooo happy, they look like they 1984. Here the commercials are either about successful people or happy families who live in a nice cottage in the country and the sun always shines. There must be something wrong with those Norwegians.

They look more bemused and surprised I think  I love this little advert! I don't understand why the little boy shouts 'yes!' at the beginning though, if he is Norwegian shouldn't he be shouting 'ja!'?

Besides the depressed parents, that could be another side effect of that chocolate. And I think the kid is actually a dwarf 40 years old.

oh I see...you were joking when you said they looked happy? I think they do look happy though! Some people just have a more subtle and quiet way of expressing their happiness (like myself!) We're not all as expressive as Italians you know

You may be right, maybe there is some cultural difference.

But I still think it is strange because the usual goal of advertisement is to associate the product they are promoting to positive ideas like success, being cool, enjoyment, etc. You usually see a very handsome guy, who looks like a top manager, who drives his new shining car in some nowhere place with infinite distant horizon, you don't see a fat guy who is stuck in the traffic.

Here is an example of italian commercial from Mulino Bianco, they sell mostly the sweet stuff you have for breakfast:

And this is what I meant with 1984:
