ASUS EAH4870

AMD PCI Express High-End Video Card
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 4870 (800 SP, 40 TMU, 16 RDP)
RAM Capacity / RAM Type: 512 MB / GDDR5 256-bit
Core Clock / Memory Clock: 750MHz / 1800 MHz
There are no difference in internal architecture between HD 4850 and HD 4870. But HD 4870 runs in higher clock and it use GDDR5. That is why HD 4870 has better performance than HD 4850.
Moreover, GDDR5 has the ability of data allocation that is 2x bigger than the earlier memory generation, GDDR3 and GDDR4. In other words, GDDR5 256-bit has the same bandwith as GDDR3 512-bit in the same clock speed.
By the way, I'm not an ASUS advertiser to write many about ASUS products, okay?
