I really thank Mashitaka-san who had given me this anime! Although he told me it’s a romantic anime, I really couldn’t see the romantic side. My eyes are blind of such a thing. Haha! But it’s a very nice anime, anyway… The battles are cool between Matsuri and Aono are cool. The ones between Matsuri and Takeshi the dandy Goatee Man are too! Dandy Goatee Man is so handsome! I love him!

I just realized that the picture above (I screenshot it from the anime episode) is the one used my
D-Angel-san in his Gendou profile. I never knew that it was Sola before. Oh, I miss
Gendou.com!

StoryYorito first met Matsuri in the park when he was going to take the picture of the dawn. Since then he never forgot Matsuri, the weird Tomato Shiroku lover girl. When they met again for the second time, Yorito told her a lot about his hobby, taking the pictures of the sky.
One day Matsuri was attacked by Takeshi, a guy who had been hunting her to sacrifice her to get Mayuko, his girlfriend, back into human. Yorito saved Matsuri from Takeshi. He finally knew that Matsuri wasn’t a human, but a Yaka. Yaka was the spirit of a dead. She could only get out in the night and rainy day since her body would be burned by the sunlight. Yorito then asked Matsuri lived in his house to avoid Takeshi.
Aono, Yorito’s big sister that had been staying in the hospital for months, was surprised when Koyori told her that Matsuri lived with Yorito. Aono apparently had known Matsuri since a long time ago and Yorito finally knew the fact that actually Aono was also a Yaka. He then wondered about what he was if his sister was Yaka. He was sure that he wasn’t a Yaka since he could get under the sun.
Matsuri told Yorito about her and Aono’s life in the past. She also told him that he was neither a human nor a Yaka. Yorito was just the creation of Aono. Hundreds years ago, Aono had a brother named Yorito, but he had died. When Aono died by killing herself, she turned into Yaka. By her power, she created the new Yorito.
In the end of the story, Matsuri and Yorito vanish together. Matsuri sacrificed her life to get Aono back into a human and as Aono lost her Yaka power, Yorito disappeared.
CharactersShihou Matsuri
She’s a Yaka girl with sky-colored umbrella. Her favorite drink is Tomato Shiruko.
At the past time, she was a Yaka who lived in a cave. She made friends with Aono and Yorito. After hundreds years, she met Yorito that was created by Aono when she was kicking a vending machine in the park to get a Tomato Shiruko out from the machine.
At first, she lived in a church in the afternoon and got out in the night. But after Takeshi found her hideout, she lived in Yorito’s house for a while. Since then she spent time together with Yorito. She also made friends with Mana and Koyori.
But after Aono went home from the hospital, she ran away from the house.
Morimiya Yorito
He’s a 15 year-old high school boy. Her hobby is taking the pictures of the sky. He even had a sky gallery in his house.
He was the one who saved Matsuri when she was attacked by Takeshi. He brought her to his house and let her lived there with him. He tried hard to hide Matsuri from Mana and Aono. But they finally knew about Matsuri, so Yorito planned to introduce Matsuri to his sister as his girlfriend.
When he knew that he was just a doll created by Aono to replace the real Yorito, he decided to vanish together with Matsuri and got Aono back into human.
Morimiya Aono
Yorito’s big sister. So quite and calm.
She was Matsuri’s friend in the past. When the real Yorito died, she killed herself. But after she died, she turned into Yaka.
She lived in the hospital since she lost a lot of her Yaka power to create Yorito. As long as she lived there, she made friend with Koyori. She often showed Koyori her origami works and taught her how to do them.
She hid the fact that she was a Yaka from Yorito. So when she knew Matsuri lived with his brother, she got out from the hospital and went back home. She tried to kill Matsuri in order to live together with Yorito peacefully.
Ishizuki Mana
She knew Yorito since her little sister, Koyori, lived in the same hospital with Aono. Besides, she was Yorito’s classmate. Since then she became Yorito’s best friend.
She suspected Yorito for hiding something from her when Yorito acted weird. When she found out that Yorito was hiding Matsuri in his house, she was very surprised. But finally she could be a good friend for Matsuri.
When Matsuri ran away from Yorito’s house, she was the one who helped him to look for Matsuri. She was also the first to know and the one who told Yorito that Aono was a Yaka.
Ishizuki Koyori
She’s Mana’s little sister. She’s a cute cheerful girl (but I think I took a screenshot in a wrong scene when she was sad).
Mana often hit her in the head for calling “Mana-san”, not “Oneechan”. Mana insisted her to always talk in a polite way. But the politeness made her way of speaking so strange. Haha…
She lived in the same hospital with Aono. She visited Aono in her room everyday and they became good friends. She also learned origami from Aono.
Tsujidou Takeshi
He was called “Dandy Goatee Man”.
When he was a child, he fell in love with Mayuko. He wanted to give a bunny doll as Mayuko’s birthday present, but when he arrived at Mayuko’s house, Mayuko and her family had been killed in a robbery. He was surprised when he saw Mayuko in her garden one day. Mayuko told him that she had been a Yaka and showed him that her body would be burned by the sunlight.
Takeshi was so sad to know Mayuko’s condition. He then promised her that he would get her back into human. That’s why he hunted Matsuri. He wanted to sacrifice Matsuri for Mayuko.
Kamikawa Mayuko
She’s a very cold girl. After being a Yaka, she wandered with Takeshi. In the afternoon, she lived in in a card box and even in a trash bin.
When she knew that Takeshi attacked Matsuri, she left Takeshi and ran away with Matsuri for a hideout.
She saved Matsuri from Takeshi. She told Takeshi that he didn’t need to kill Matsuri to turn her back into human. She told him that she didn’t want to turn back into human if it meant she should sacrifice Matsuri. She said that it was enough to have Takeshi beside him.
Finally, she lived with Takeshi happily ever after.
