Ayuh!

Well, just saw 'wanted' on my friendz laptop. Twas sexy. Even though this is the second time I've seen it, i appreciate it more. I think it's sorta like the matrix effect.Remember THAT movie? The hype was unbelievable converting a generation of people into crazy idiots who at the slightest mention of the wachowski brothers(directors of the matrix trilogy) went into unexplainable exstacy at the memory of the 1st movie. well, this movie had the same effect on me. A second time. The first time i saw it was in the US(2nd week of release i think). I still remember being sarcastic about the movie and cracking wiseguy comments along with everyone else about how the guy who jumps through the window was just like spiderman. And then, came the scene of the guy bending the bullet. THAT shut everyone up and I remember that even though the time was 12 at night and everyone should have been in a sleepy mode, yawning and talking- no one said a single word. That first scene ,that first bullet. It captivated everyone and enthralled them. So, while i do not know whether the sequels of wanted(if there are any in the making) will be as bad as the one's of matrix, I for one am truly convinced that one paper's reviewer got it spot on when he said that wanted is the movie of OUR generation.
