Opera Mini Party!

The Official UGM's Opera Mini Party will commence in a couple of days. Can't wait! The Opera Mini Party, hosted by UGM's Opera Campus Crew will feature a couple of presentations done by the crew informing the masses of the greatness that is Opera Mini smile. Then, a mass installation session will follow.
I as part of the PDD (publications, decorations, and documentations) team will provide the aforementioned services to the event. The most crucial being the documentation, with which I will do my part in taking pictures with my beloved camera's assistance. smile The ensemble consists of Landhes, Deni, and Azvin plus me.

I know our team will do great. For those giving the presentation, just have fun! and kick ass cool
I'll do my best in giving you guys the best exposure possible. cheers! cheers

here goes, the start of a new blog smile. I declare this blog as the vessel for everything I do as an Opera Campus Crew member. I'll record all things Opera here. And maybe a few bits that are not.

I came in contact with my first big Opera-related activity in the form of the great(and successful bigsmile )seminar held at our campus a couple of weeks back. I was one half of the two-people-package host of the seminar, and it was quite an experiencing speaking in English in public (it was a bit rusty since I've abandoned it for so long). Lutfi (the other half of the duo) did great! he got me covered when I messed up in one part! Bless him bigsmile Overall, it was quite a shindig jester

The spokespeople were 3 representatives from Opera who shared some of their wisdom.
The group consisted of
A punk-loving Englishman named Bruce who got hooked on Gita Gutawa and Mulan Jameela bigsmile
Zi Bin, from Malaysia, who seem to really know his stuff and spoke a whole lotta languages smile
An enthusiastic Indonesian named Putri native to the city of Malang... She was the coordinator of their trip to Indonesia, since it is her own back yard. I'd love to be in her shoes bigsmile

It was an exciting day for us Opera Campus Crew members. And the seminar was a great success with quite a turnout. Here's to hoping our next will be even better than the last! cheers! cheers
