Walking is Still Honest

here goes, the start of a new blog . I declare this blog as the vessel for everything I do as an Opera Campus Crew member. I'll record all things Opera here. And maybe a few bits that are not.

I came in contact with my first big Opera-related activity in the form of the great(and successful )seminar held at our campus a couple of weeks back. I was one half of the two-people-package host of the seminar, and it was quite an experiencing speaking in English in public (it was a bit rusty since I've abandoned it for so long). Lutfi (the other half of the duo) did great! he got me covered when I messed up in one part! Bless him Overall, it was quite a shindig

The spokespeople were 3 representatives from Opera who shared some of their wisdom.
The group consisted of
A punk-loving Englishman named Bruce who got hooked on Gita Gutawa and Mulan Jameela
Zi Bin, from Malaysia, who seem to really know his stuff and spoke a whole lotta languages
An enthusiastic Indonesian named Putri native to the city of Malang... She was the coordinator of their trip to Indonesia, since it is her own back yard. I'd love to be in her shoes

It was an exciting day for us Opera Campus Crew members. And the seminar was a great success with quite a turnout. Here's to hoping our next will be even better than the last! cheers!
