Television Coverage of Pope John Paul II Funeral
Saturday, April 9, 2005 5:45:38 AM
I think that the Major Networks could have done a better and more respectful job, in covering what will no doubt be the most watched event in the history of television.
Such journalists as Peter Jennings,(I wish for him a healing from his cancer situation). Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather and other past broadcast journalists knew when to talk and when to let the events speak for themselves.
Far too much talking, and interjection of unimportant and unconnected subject matter,is unfortunate, during such a significant event.
I would appreciate comments on this post.
